We reach the end of another fun NFL Season.
Super Bowl Recap

The Eagles really dominated the game from the start to finish. Sure the KC D held up initially and even limited Saquon Barkley to just 2.3 Yards per Carry. Yet, QB Jalen Hurts was able to hit his WRs all over – Jahan Dotson was first (who I really wanted that 66-1 first TD ticket to cash), set up the 1st TD, AJ Brown scored later, and Smith caught a bomb in the 2nd to open the game wide open. The real story was the Eagles D – the D Line dominated, as predicted with 6 sacks of Patrick Mahomes and another 16 pressures. CB Cooper Dejean took one to the house for his birthday in the 1st half; Zack Baun made a great INT after another Eagles pressure setting up the Brown TD, and DE Milton Williams strip sack set up another score (FG).
The Chiefs really only pushed the score Over the Total with 3 TDs in the last 15 plus minutes of the game. PHI led 34-0 at one point, and some big plays by rookie WR Xavier Worthy was the only bright spot on the night (8 catches, 157 yards, 2 TDs – including the 2 longest catches on the night – besting my Smith bet). KC cannot get to the 3-peat, which really is not a surprise as no team ever has for a reason. This Eagles team was the best since their Bye in Week 5. QB Jalen Hurts earned his first MVP with 3 total TDs – personally, I think he deserved it the last time they played 2 years ago, so glad to see it. The D was the real MVP, but no one person contributed like Hurts. It is nice to see the best team actually win the Super Bowl.
Predictions: S/U 1-0, ATS 1-0, Total 0-1
Here are some prop grades for the degens out there.
Passing – Hurts (221 Yards, 2 TDs) and Mahomes (257 Yards, 3 TDs) both went Over their Yardage and TDs – combined yards hit with the 2nd Worthy TD (Over 460.5).
Rushing – No one hit their rushing prop except for Jalen Hurts (72 yards), which probably gave him the MVP.
Receiving – For main targets, only DeVonta Smith (69 yards) and Worthy (157 yards) went over, as the game script hurt Goedert, but Saquon Barkley hit all 3 props for me – Over Receptions (4 Receptions), Yards (12.5 Yards) and Longest Reception (20 Yards).
Two Pointers – KC hit multiple to cash +550, PHI did not need to go for 2.
Kicking – Jake Elliott covered his 1.5 FGs made, longest FG over 49.5 and Over 3.5 for the game with 4. Butker did not register a single point in the game (3 two point tries).
Defense – 3 TOs for PHI (Over), PHI registered 6 sacks (Over) – the most ever recorded on Mahomes in a Super Bowl. Pick 6 cashes the Defensive Score.
Specials – Coin Flip – Tails, National Anthem just Under, No Scorigami, Gatorade Color – Yellow/Green
The season was great, and hopefully, it was profitable for you. College Hoops will start for this blog soon.
