With just 2 weeks left in the regular season, the top squads are staking their claim on the top seeds. It’s going to be a wild end to a crazy season.
Week 15 Review
- Pack Eliminate the Bears – The Packers came out strong against the Bears, but CHI showed something in the 4th quarter. Down 8 points on the final play of the game, the Bears lateraled the ball all over the field, but without the last pitch, the play ended 2 yards short, GB won 21-13.
- Texans End Titans’ Streak – The HOU Texans after getting trounced at home the week before went into Nashville and took out the Titans, 24-21. HOU now leads the AFC South with another match up with TEN in Week 17.
- Dallas Gets Off the Mat – The Cowboys have sucked for a month, but with their backs against the wall, they completely destroyed the Rams, 44-21. The Rams now are one loss away from missing the playoffs. Dallas is one win away from the NFC East crown.
- Bills Outmuscle Steelers – Give QB Josh Allen credit, he hasn’t been on prime time much, but he has come through. On SNF, Allen and the upstart Bills went into PIT and got a huge win,17-10, grabbing a playoff spot and giving them a chance to knock off NE for the AFC East.

Key Match Ups in Week 16
- Bills at Patriots (-6.5, Total 36.5) – Saturday, 12/21 at 4:30 PM Eastern/3:30 PM Central on NFL Network – The Patriots have been the Beasts of the AFC East for over a decade. The Bills are probably a year away from taking this division for sure, but if the Bills can win this Saturday and win their final game, they will take it in 2019. I don’t think they will, but I’ll be rooting for them. Pats win S/U, but do not cover the -6.5, and Total Under 36.5.
- Rams at 49ers (-6.5, Total 45) – Saturday, 12/21 at 8:15 PM Eastern/7:15 PM Central on NFL Network – SF can take the 1 Seed with wins over the Rams and Seahawks. If they can beat LA, then the Rams will be eliminated from the playoffs. So, this is a huge game for both teams. I think the 49ers are hurting, but not enough to lose the game. I think the Rams will cover the +6.5, and the game will go Over 45.
- Cowboys at Eagles (+2.5, Total 46.5) – Sunday, 12/22 at 4:25 PM Eastern/3:25 PM Central on FOX – The Eagles, despite almost losing 2 weeks in a row to the Giants and Redskins, if they win Sunday against DAL, then they will win the division. Well, I don’t see that happening. Now, Prescott is on the injury report, but I think the Eagles are just bad – mainly due to injury. DAL can win this game with their running game and defense. I’ll have them cover the -2.5, even though that is against most handicappers. I like this game Over 46.5.
- Packers at Vikings (-5.5, Total 46) – Monday, 12/23 at 8:15 PM Eastern/7:15 PM Central on ESPN – Very interesting situation, the Packers lead the NFC North, but the Vikes are the better team. Can the Vikes get back on top with the win on MNF? I think they can and will. Now, I liked this game a lot more at -4.5 when it opened, so -5.5 is a little too rich for me, GB will cover the -5.5, and Over 46. MIN winning this game and against CHI next week will give MIN the division, and make the Pack travel to a very good opponent in the playoffs.
