There is more gossip flying around Nashville and War Rooms around the NFL than at the high school prom. At this point, no one really knows what will happen, but in just a few hours, it will begin.

The Stage is Set!!

Draft Coverage:

Round 1: Tonight, April 25th – 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC

Rounds 2-3: Tomorrow, April 26th – 7 PM Eastern/6 PM Central on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC

Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 27th – 12 Noon Eastern/11 AM Central on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC

Now, the NFL has a history of rumors or tweets or videos that come out on Draft Day. Here are a couple examples:

  • 2018 – Josh Allen, Wyoming, QB had racist tweets come out in the morning of the Draft – still drafted in the Top 10.
  • 2016 – Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss, OT had a video of him smoking marijuana in a gas mask from 3 years prior be released across all social media outlets just minutes before the Draft. He was projected in the Top 3 and feel to #13.

Key Changes

Seattle traded DE Frank Clark to Kansas City earlier this week, and as such Seattle receives Kansas City’s 29th pick in the Draft – giving them 2 picks in the 20s.

Montez Sweat, Miss State, EDGE rusher got a 2nd opinion on his heart condition that was identified at the NFL Combine. He is just fine, apparently, so he is back in the Top 15.

Rashan Gary, Michigan, EDGE rusher has a reported partially torn labrum (shoulder) that he played through in 2018. That will certainly affect his draft stock.

I’m sure there will be a lot more movement – trade talks, etc. as the NFL has crafted a reality show about of the Draft each year. Plus, with the venue changing every year, the fans become a huge part of the experience. Nashville has a great time to shine as Chicago, Philly and Dallas have in the past (Vegas next year).
