So, my first real post on Wegspool was about the NFL Draft in 2018. I ran a series of Draft 101 Basics which still apply. I encourage you to revisit those posts to get up to speed on the basics. However, I will go over a quick review here before jumping into to this year’s Draft which is only 9 days away.
2019 NFL Draft
The Draft will be held this year in Nashville on Thursday, April 25th-27th. The NFL continues to move the Draft around the country, which started in my own Chicago, then to Philly, then Dallas, and now Music City. I actually saw them starting to build the stage last weekend down by the Cumberland River at the end of Broadway. It should be a great scene, and if you are there, those rooftops at the end of the row will be premium for the event.
Draft History and Order
Here is the post from last year giving you all you need to know about the Draft History: http://wegspool.com/2018/04/10/its-nfl-draft-season-draft-101-part-i-draft-basics-and-draft-order/

In the coming days, I will dig back into the Positions Review from last year, but overlay the strengths of this year’s Draft Class. Plus, I’ll go into the Team Needs this year for each team. What makes the NFL Draft so unique from the other sports is that every draft class can have an immediate impact on their teams. So, whether your team has the #1 Pick or doesn’t pick until the 3rd Round (yes, that’s my team, the Bears), the Draft still fills holes in every team for the coming season.
Let’s get after it.
